We believe in the New Testament principle of Giving and Sowing

"Give and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measurement that you use, it will be measured back to you." (Luke 6:38)

"But as you abound in everything--in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all diligence, and in your love for us--see that you abound in this grace also." (2 Corinthians 8:7)

To make this pattern and calling of giving functional STPA promotes tithing:

Tithing is our Program

The tithe of STPA members and adherents is how STPA is financed. When people tithe, the financial obligations of this organization is met.

Tithing is our Pattern

The Old Testament system called for a number of different tithes. We see the pattern of tithing as useful, as it allows equal percentage giving.

Tithing is our Policy

Tithing is a recommendation and requirement for all members and those in ministry positions.

Tithing is our Privilege

Tithing comes with real blessing. Because tithing is giving... and giving is sowing... tithing is a privilege. We use our 10% as a sowing opportunity to see God do something wonderful in our lives.
